Information we use

Shotvilo helps merchants organize product photography. We access the store identity and the products, variants, SKUs and image references you select. We store your content standards, shoot projects, manual assignments, review decisions, version history and generated exports. We also keep Shopify installation credentials and subscription verification records on our servers so the app can work securely.

Shopify staff identifiers may appear in your workspace audit history to show who made a change. Shotvilo does not request customer or order data, payment card numbers, or storefront visitor tracking. It does not change Shopify products, upload images to your store, or automatically score image quality.

How information is used and shared

We use this information to provide the workspace, check source changes, generate the files you request, enforce plan limits, protect account access and respond to support requests. Shopify provides authentication, product information and app billing. DigitalOcean provides our hosting and database infrastructure. Product images are fetched from Shopify's image service when needed to make exports.

We do not sell your store data or use your product images to train AI models. Your generated files are private to your store and authenticated session. People you choose to share downloaded files with may retain their own copies.

Retention and deletion

Your workspace remains available while the app is installed, including after a subscription cancellation. Generated export files expire after 24 hours; temporary download links expire after 10 minutes. You can delete individual projects and download your structured workspace data from Settings.

Uninstalling immediately disables access and cancels pending exports when Shopify's uninstall notification is received. Our cleanup process schedules the remaining store workspace for deletion after 48 hours. We also process Shopify's mandatory store erasure notifications. Information that Shopify holds is governed by Shopify's own policies.

Your choices

You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting the email above. We may ask you to verify control of the store before acting. Requests about customer data receive a response reflecting that Shotvilo does not collect customer records. Uninstall the app in Shopify admin to revoke its access.

Security and changes

We use HTTPS, authenticated store access, server-side authorization and restricted download links. No system can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated as the service changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
